SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.

SASSA are going to be rendering solutions including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it can be alarmed regarding the superior number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to the lack of infrastructure at more info Fernie and there is no fully functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The provider level developed for intervention experiences a high inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it hard for that office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more resources to empower the servicing of all buyers and enhance entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
